News: Accelerated Democracy is being featured in various media. View list

The Accelerated Democracy project is a series of four scenarios that offer one answer to this question. Each scenario is rooted in trends in American voting that are already happening and look likely to continue into the future.

The scenarios featured are not designed to be solutions, nor however are they explicitly meant to frighten. The goal is to illustrate potential futures now, so we as a society can discuss the pros and cons while they still are only potential.

In addition to the scenarios, the Accelerated Democracy project also identified and categorized six potential benefits and dangers of technology-changed voting. Several of these effects can already be seen today, while others may become more pronounced if technology and voting continue to integrate.

Please spend some time exploring the scenarios and the effects, and send any feedback to mail
